We offer a number of window and door frame types to suit your personal preferences, including high quality aluminium and timber, and we install high quality direct glazed, argon gas-filled low-E glazing for an insulated interior.
Aluminium window frames are lightweight, efficient, and highly secure. Virtually maintenance-free, aluminium frames provide a rigid and resilient solution that matches the lifespan of the overall building. The extreme lightness of aluminium offers a particular benefit with door frames, enabling an effortless mechanism and functionality.
Timber window frames are an elegant, beautiful choice for a more traditional appearance, with outstanding energy efficient performance. We use premium quality hard wood sliding and folding door sets from one of the UK’s leading manufacturers, offering outstanding insulation with low-E, argon-filled 18mm glazing. Fitted with a 4-point locking system and tempered safety glass, these doors offer security as well as energy efficient performance.
As an optional extra we can employ a revolutionary self-heating glazing system that creates interior warmth through a state-of-the-art technology. Completely eliminating heat loss from the windows, the SGG EGLAS system from Finnglass is effective in the most extreme conditions, with a performance capability of 400C even when outside temperatures drop to -200c.
Zone controlled to create flexibly temperate spaces in larger scale interiors, we believe that this solution represents one of the most effective, innovative eco-friendly approaches to interior climate control available today, and we’re proud to offer it as an option on our Decorated Shed garden buildings.
