AV/Lighting/Automation
We can integrate a scalable level of communication, electronic and audio visual (AV) equipment into the build process of any Decorated Shed garden room, saving time by eliminating the need to employ a third party specialist company. As well as including these systems for use from day one, we can also offer hi-tech automation functionality that allows you to control any number of elements remotely from your computer or Wi-fi enabled device (smartphone, iPad etc).
Communications
Full internet and telephone capacity can turn your Decorated Shed garden building into a communications hub, either for work or simply to stay connected while relaxing. These services can be installed as an extension of your main property’s supply, with a flexible approach that can encompass wireless, hardwire or from mains power.
TV and Home Cinema
TV in your Decorated Shed garden building can work via a ‘split’ from your main digital television service reception (Sky, Virgin), or operate exclusively with a hardwired extension, meaning that spending time outside of the home needn’t mean you miss your favourite programmes.
If you’re looking for entertainment with a little more ‘wow factor’, we can integrate complete home cinema systems, including a range of TVs of all sizes from leading brands, as well as surround sound systems up to 7.1 arrays. Video sources can be flexibly specified to include Blu-Ray, DVD, Apple TV, media server, games console or computer, depending on your preference and set-up. When combined with an acoustically optimised interior this results in a truly jaw-dropping professional home cinema experience.
Music
As many of our clients specify their Decorated Shed garden building as a place for relaxation, we offer a range of high quality music system and set-up options. With systems ranging from stand-alone set-ups to hi-fidelity components, with a varied selection of speaker types and configurations available, your music can be tailored entirely around your personal needs. Music can even be extended to the decking area if required with water-proof speakers.
Security Systems
Depending on the level of equipment housed in your Decorated Shed garden building, it is often preferable to install an additional level of security. We can provide a reassuringly high specification of security equipment including CCTV and intruder alarms, all with the option for remote access.
Automation
While all of our AV, electronic and lighting systems can be installed as stand-alone solutions, we’re pleased to be able to offer automated control features where required. From remote activated lighting, heating and air conditioning through to CCTV, the level of flexibility can be scaled to your needs. Control can be accessed through a dedicated LCD touchscreen handset, a computer or Wi-fi enabled device. As well as improving the adaptability and ease of use of your systems, automation can also offer benefits from an efficiency and environmental performance perspective.
Please note that the availability of all AV / Electronic / Lighting / Automation services is dependent on the specifics of individual sites and build types, with a feasibility study factored into the initial site survey.
Systems for Homes
The complete selection of communication, AV and security systems available for our garden buildings can also be specified in the home. Again, like our garden building systems we can integrate complete remote automation if required, offering a sophisticated level of control.
Systems for Schools and Commercial Buildings
As well as a flexible range of systems for garden buildings and homes, we can also offer an advanced set of hi-tech installations for schools and commercial buildings, either as a main supplier or in partnership with an existing affiliate. These systems include, but are not limited to; Audio and PA; projectors and displays; HD video conferencing; large-scale plasma and LCD screens; interactive whiteboards and HD video walls.
