Time for Life - The Garden Office

By Steven Willis on 6th October, 2010
Today’s lifestyles are increasingly hectic, with work dominating the day, and spare time being eaten away with a growing number of demands. It’s ironic that continuous advancements in technology, although designed to make our lives easier and more efficient, seem to just give us more and more things to do - leaving even less time to simply relax and unwind.
A garden office can save time in many different ways, resulting in a real change in your life and general sense of efficiency. As it is a dedicated space for work, there are none of the distractions of the home or even of a shared office, so time spent in a garden office is effective with productivity kept at an optimum level.
Conveniently positioned at the bottom of your garden, the garden office of course doesn’t require a commute, so time normally spent in car, or on a bus or train, can be allotted elsewhere into your morning routine, perhaps in the form of a more relaxed breakfast or by immediately jumping into the job in hand in the office without delay. At the end of the day, the time saved by removing the need to commute translates directly into more leisure time in the evening, resulting in a defined period where you can wind down and forget the working day.
So while a garden office is a clear investment in your work, it also brings massive benefits to your leisure time. And that time is invaluable.
