The Power of Natural Light

By Steven Willis on 9th November, 2010
Natural light is a powerful trigger that helps to tell the body that it is time to get up, ensuring the requisite levels of energy are delivered to carry out the activities of the day. So, it’s important to make sure that you are exposed to natural light throughout the day to help feel suitably energised. Not getting enough light can result in a dull sense of lethargy, as from a physiological perspective the body isn’t getting the signs that it is daytime and excess energy is required.
With this in mind, light exposure is an important part of the working day and can dictate the level of productivity that you ultimately achieve.
We design each of our garden offices to maximise the flow of natural light into the interior, to help make the spaces as healthy and vibrant as possible. By avoiding unlit, dark areas, our garden offices are actively conducive to productivity, creating environments where work can thrive.
