The natural lighting and open-plan spaces of the buildings from Decorated Shed offer a space to be creative and inspired. That’s why our school rooms are the perfect place to teach young minds. It allows them to learn and grow in an altogether different environment from the usual boring and uninspired class room buildings that we normally see.

The ethos that we hold here at Decorated Shed is ever-present in our range of school rooms. We only use naturally sourced material and everything from building materials to fixtures and fittings are designed to last and are made to an exceptionally high standard. The lessons of taking care of the environment and looking after the world around us are vitally important, which need to be taught to the younger generation. What better way to support these lessons by building their classroom in an environmentally-friendly way?

Another important consideration is to make sure that these buildings are cost-effective, with even more need to control the budget in these times of austerity. Public sector funding programmes can often help considerably towards the cost of a Decorated Shed school room and throughout the process there will always be someone at hand to keep you informed of the financial aspects. The whole design and building process is handled with thought and consideration to find the most cost-effective solution.

Each school room must sit well within the grounds of the school and be designed to complement its surroundings, while also serving a useful purpose. We can add in separate showering rooms or bicycle storage and the nature of the design allows for extensions, if needed in the future.
