Quality Insulation in a Garden Office

By Andrew Tweddle on 21st October, 2011
With temperatures beginning to tumble and the dark nights starting to roll in, the importance of high-quality insulation will soon become very apparent. Here at Decorated Shed, we pride ourselves on the quality of insulations that our garden offices provide, meaning that even in the coldest of weather, you can still make the most of your garden office and all it has to offer.
Each Decorated Shed garden office is made with superior sustainable materials and expert craftsmanship, which ensures the insulation is of the highest possible standard. Every garden office comes with the choice of Thermowood, Western Red Cedar or Larch exterior cladding, which all provide excellent insulation, as well as being very heard wearing. Another way we provide warmth when needed is through the innovative insulation system, built into the main structure of all garden offices. This all helps create a comfortable temperature inside, no matter what the weather is like outside.
Decorated Shed garden offices also come with low-maintenance, yet highly efficient windows and doors. The windows and doors come in a choice of aluminium or timber frame, both of which are of very high quality, to further add to the insulating qualities of the overall structure. An optional extra is the state-of-the-art SGG EGLAS glazing system from Finnglass. This system uses argon-filled glazing, which can keep temperatures inside at an astounding 40°c, even when temperatures outside are as low as 20°c. Under-floor heating is also available to make your garden office that extra bit cosy.
There are many choices of garden office available, across a very wide price range. However, a garden office should be seen as a long-term investment, which can add significant value to your home and work life. By choosing a lesser garden office, you are essentially limiting its potential value, because during the winter it will likely be too cold to use. A Decorated Shed garden office is a genuine year-round solution, which will keep on performing year after year.
