Productivity from an organised garden office

Productivity from an organised garden office

By Matthew Thompson on 26th December, 2010

Some people who choose to disregard the need for an office, and turn their back on commuting and renting an exterior office space, settle for working from home. However, due to the fact you are at home and in a room not an office which is designed for working, your productivity is affected. A garden office designed by Decorated Shed, provides an area which is specifically built for your work and your productivity is bound to increase.

There are many disadvantages with an office you have set up in your own home; you are not in a room where the primary purpose is as an office. In most cases, home workers choose to set up in a spare bedroom or a dining room. This attitude doesn’t provide a positive working atmosphere, as you already associate the room with other functions. For those that do have an office room in the home, you may still be just a short distance from the living room sofa and the relaxing environment of your home. Our garden office is a meticulously designed work space, with organisation, productivity and efficiency ingrained into it.

A garden office has a corporate feeling, and is built for that primary purpose. Working in a garden office is not dissimilar from in a rented space, as you can have separate phone and internet lines installed and keep in contact with clients and suppliers through technology, only without the hassle which comes with it. A garden office is better suited to your working needs than a makeshift office, as you are free from distractions and able to work in an organised workplace.
