Play Time - Music in a Garden Studio

By Steven Willis on 2nd November, 2010
When it comes to hobbies there are certain activities that simply aren’t compatible with being contained in a house, and perhaps the most obvious of these is playing musical instruments. Whatever the genre of music that you play, it’s rare that the prolonged sound of practicing or performing will be welcomed by family or neighbours after a certain length of time. This isn’t conducive to enjoyment, and often leads to giving up as it’s so inhibiting.
It’s because of this scenario that lots of musicians are experiencing the many benefits of taking their hobby into a garden studio. Isolated from the main house in a dedicated space, brings a freedom that a spare room couldn’t hope to offer.
Here at Decorated Shed we have several designs that are perfect as garden studios for performing music, for instance the Lantern Lite. With optional soundproofing you can create a high specification garden studio that not only gives you the space to play, but contains your music so you can practice and perform whenever you like, and you don’t need to worry about disturbing others.
