Planning Permission and Decorated Shed garden buildings
By Steven Willis on 16th December, 2009
The majority of Decorated Shed design styles don't require any planning permission or building regulation approvals, meaning that your building can be designed and built within a matter of days. We've developed our most popular styles to fall within the boundaries of the current UK planning permission regulations to avoid the time-consuming red-tape usually associated with these types of project.
On occasions where your Decorated Shed building does require planning permission or Building Regulations, for instance the Barn or any unit that is adapted to contain sleeping accommodation, we will handle the required applications and communication on your behalf - ensuring a completely hassle-free experience.
Take a look at our Design Specification page for a more detailed explanation of the issues of planning permission and Building Regulations. Have a look around the site for more information on Decorated Shed's range, or call 0845 250 0028 to find out more.
