Giant grassy lawn lounges throughout the UK

The National Trust have created something extraordinary for tourists this summer. Apparently the average English family is spending up to 43 hours per week sat on the sofa! Looking at these stats -the Trust is asking everyone to try out their green grass planted living rooms in their outdoor country settings where ten have been placed around the country.
The idea and motive behind the designs is to get those who would rather sit inside in front of the TV to enjoy some fresh air and country green atmosphere. After the National Trust carried out the survey, finding out 13 weeks per year was spent by each family on their sofas - they decided to act on it.
Lawn furniture at the scale of these have never been seen before, a few families could fit on one!

Shame the grassy lawn lounges will not last the duration of your garden room, but it is a really good idea to get people outdoors to visit them.
Spending time in the outdoors allows you to relax, unwind and regenerate for the busy lifestyles.
