Free your house with a garden studio

By Steven Willis on 18th August, 2010

A garden studio is a great way to free up space in your home and create a dedicated area for your hobby or work.

Spare bedrooms, reception rooms or studies that are appropriated for hobbies or work activities are invariably something of a compromise, for a number of important reasons.

From a space consideration, the placement of these activities within the house takes up valuable rooms that could be used for their original intentions.

The activity itself is rarely suited to a general room, and the location within the house limits the possibilities of what can be carried out. Any noise-generating activity, for instance anything to do with music, is patently unsuited with a house-based room, while art and photography pursuits are also mismatched to such spaces.

Finally, the house suffers from losing a room to a hobby. Any reception room containing the accessories and accoutrements of an activity such as painting will be seen as an infringement at best, and an untidy mess at worst.

A bespoke garden studio, built specifically to contain an activity that couldn't be successfully kept in the house, is a perfect solution.
