Wood burning stoves reach "must have" status

Wood burning stoves are the new home style 'must have' item, according to an article in the Daily Telegraph today. The rapid growth of the wood burning stove in the last year - 300% growth at Stoves Online alone - underlines the fact that homeowners are turned on to the benefits of the eco appliances.

The two clear selling points of wood burning stoves are that they're incredibly efficient and, as the Telegraph article points out, very stylish. For any homeowner, or garden building owner, looking to invest in an effective heating system with eco credibility and a real wow-factor, a wood burning stove has to be a serious contender.

Despite the article suggesting that the popularity of the wood burning stove is comparable to any number of homeowner fads throughout the years, the fact is that the massive benefits of the appliance and the timeless stylings of the majority of units available means that they're here to stay.
