Stylish sheds can be a perfect solution for those looking for more space.

Extending your living space is something we all consider at some time or another. Whether it is the addition of a conservatory, loft conversion or ...a shed!

It may sound strange but husband and wife Russ and Katie Evans opted for just this.

The couple love their three-bed room, semi detached mill cottage but that doesn't mean they were blind to its limitations.

With three children under the age of five and Russ doubling up home as his office, the couple were in a massive quandary about just how to give themselves some extra space.

They had explored all the options - there wasn’t the space to add an extension or to transform their garage and they had neither the finances nor the desire to move house.

The ideal solution for them was to create a garden room which could not only double as Russ’s office but could also act as a much-needed guest bedroom.

This is where Decorated Shed came in. The company was launched earlier this year and the family were the first to commission a special shed from them.

The company say they can offer increased living space with the minimum amount of time, effort and expenditure.

Adding, that it is an environmentally-friendly solution to home space problems.

Now with their Decorated Shed firmly in place, the couple admit they didn't know how they ever managed without it.

'We desperately needed some extra space,' said Russ, 32, who works as an investment sales manager.

'I was working out of our entrance hall with the doors shut so I couldn’t hear the kids.'
'It was just a small and horrible place to have to try and work.'

Katie and Russ worked out that getting a Decorated Shed installed was definitely an option they could afford and where equally attracted to the fact it could be a place within five days.

The shed has been divided into a work space for Russ and a smart guest bedroom which the Evans didn’t have before.

'It really is lovely.' Said the 33-year-old Katie.

'Its well insulated so its really warm and it just fits in with the house perfectly.'
'What we really like is the fact its also really light because its got lots of windows but its also quiet because of the insulation.' said Russ.

'We have people stopping to have a look at it and they are really complimentary about it.'

The couple did their research before deciding on decorated Shed, liking the stylish and practical aspects of what was on offer.

'Its been the perfect solution for us.' Adds Russ
