Invite Festive Celebration into a Garden Studio
By Francesca McGlone on 25th November, 2010
As Christmas and New Year draws closer, levels of excitement mount as people slip into party mode and their spirits lighten. The wintry weather, although perceived by many commuters as troublesome can actually help magnify merriness, as twisting bare branches become dusted with snow and bright winter sun cleanses the landscape. The sight of slopes packed with sledges, as family and friends wrap up in hats and scarves, united in their quest for fun together with twinkling Christmas lights, epitomises the seasonal flurry of anticipation.
With the likelihood of more visitors to your door during the busy festive period, a garden studio can serve as the perfect place to entertain, as guest are shown out to a pretty garden which they can view further from the comfort of a cosy interior. Taking the opportunity to decorate trees and shrubbery with lights will also help to create an environment fit for festive celebrations.
Christmas Day can often mean that a home becomes cramped and increasingly uncomfortable as time wears on. Having a separate area where guests can break away from the often bustling atmosphere and relax with a change of scene and company can make Christmas Day equally enjoyable for both adults and children. A garden studio could even be designated as a space to unwrap presents, so that excess paper, ribbon and cards are contained in a small area, rather than spread throughout the house. A garden studio makes a great setting for any occasion, be it a birthday, anniversary or simply a gathering of family or friends. The natural surroundings and luxurious interior enhance an event with an abundance of charm, to make it even more special.
As the end of another year approaches to be replaced by the beginning of a new one, the topic of celebration is usually at the forefront of many people’s conversations. Bringing in the New Year at home can take the shape of a flamboyant energy-fuelled party, complete with fireworks or can be a low-key affair, spent with close family. Either way, a garden studio can fit neatly into all manner of celebrations. It can act as another space that party guests can congregate, with the immediacy of the garden as an area to watch fireworks or simply gaze at the stars and moon contemplatively, as another year begins. A garden studio is also a snug space where a family can toast to new resolutions, while looking out onto nature from a detached vantage point.
A garden studio can very easily be a centre for celebration, providing a refreshing alternative to a living room. For more information on how our range of garden buildings can transform your home into an entertaining haven, download our brochure or call 0845 250 0028.
