10 uses for your garden studio

By Dawn Kubicek on 12th August, 2010
Decorated Shed build bespoke garden buildings to suit your lifestyle.
Our garden studios range from the Lantern Lite, the Flat Lodge and the Garden Office range. These buildings are in our standard range but if you require something different our team can work with you to design and build your perfect studio.
We have built a variety of garden studios for our clients for all different kinds of uses. In some cases a studio can be designed for more than one use so why not make the most out of your new found space. Here are some ideas:
1. Garden gym - this can give you the chance to exercise when you please in a relaxed, natural environment. Just what you need after a hard day at work.
2. Artist's studio - carrying out such activities in your own home can have restricted measures. Having your own space can give you inspiration and the freedom to create a master piece!
3. Leisure studio - can give you the extra space to relax in a quiet, secluded area away from the hustle and bustle of your home.
4. Childrens play room - If you need your home back due to the children taking over with their toys, a separate space may be the answer! Of course this area could be used to your own benefits once the children are in bed.
5. Games room - If you are a snooker or pool player, a garden studio may be the perfect place to have one of these. Usually a pool table can take up a whole room in your home, so a separate space for this is a good option. Other games can be stored in this room to.
6. Soundproof studio - If you are a musician and need somewhere where you can play your music as loud as you want without disturbing the neighbours, a soundproof room may be the answer for you.
7. Yoga room - if you carry out a hobby like yoga or even run yoga/exercise classes a yoga garden room may be the perfect solution. A yoga studio in a natural environment will also add to the relaxation of the sessions.
8. Office - if you need a studio to work in, a garden office may be the perfect solution giving you the breathing space to complete your daily tasks. Working in an outside environment can help with your motivation and work levels due to natural surroundings.
9. Library - If you enjoy reading as a hobby - to an extent where your books are taking up your home, a library may be a good option for you which will give you space to store your books and a quiet area for your reading.
10. Home cinema - if you are a film fanatic and can't get enough of DVD's and films then a home cinema for your family and friends may be ideal for you.
If you require more than one of the above your garden studio can be partitioned into separate rooms. If you require a garden studio for a completely different use Decorated Shed will work with you to create your design.
